Strengthening Relationships
and Sex Education

RSE Hub collaborates with Durex 'DO...' project | 23 August 2016

The RSE Hub is pleased to announce we have been busy collaborating on a new SRE project called DO… which is working alongside us to improve sex and relationships education (SRE) in schools.

As we know four in every five teachers say they don’t feel sufficiently trained and confident in SRE. Together, we can change that. DO… is an innovative new educational initiative designed by SRE experts, including the RSE Hub and supported by Durex to make it easier for schools to deliver outstanding SRE.
DO… is different. It’s shifting the focus from information-driven learning to an approach that’s truly about young people themselves, empowering them to shape their own skills, values and emotions and to consider and challenge the world around them.
DO… is supporting teachers to deliver inspirational SRE with a free online range of teacher resources and detailed SRE lesson plans, to help you facilitate really engaging sessions that empower young people. And what’s more, the resources for teachers have been awarded the PSHE Association Quality Mark for best practice in SRE teaching.
DO... also provides schools with the opportunity to download the RSE Hub's Quality Review Framework for secondary schools completely FOR FREE for a limited number of downloads http://www.dosreforschools.com/action-plan-toolkit/quality-review-framework-for-practitioners-of-sre/
You can find out more at the DO… website http://www.dosreforschools.com/ – and please get in touch if you have any questions about how the RSE Hub and DO… can help schools deliver great SRE.
